United for the Homeless
Starting back in 2012 a group from Pleasant Grove church of the Nazarene went to feed the Homeless with 60 sandwiches and two bags of clothes. We were so overcome with the needs in Birmingham, we have dedicated our time to serve the homeless every 3rd Sunday since this point. We meet outside on the corner by the The Firehouse Shelter at 1501 3rd Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35203.
When do we go?
You can meet us every 3rd Sunday at the Firehouse at 3pm or meet at Pleasant Grove Church of the Nazarene at 2:30PM and follow or ride with us. You will be a blessing to those in need.

* We need all sizes, but especially need larger sizes, XL, XXL, etc.
** All clothing items should be clean and ready to wear. Please, NO SOILED clothes.
*** No household and electrical items needed.

This ministry has grown way past one Church to many church's being involved in serving at different times during the month. We would encourage everyone to come out and get involved, whether it is with our group “United for the Homeless”, “Hope for the Homeless” or any other group. Our mission is to show God's love. We love and appreciate all of you who are leading the charge.
